Workshop: Supporting Susto for Men

  • Casa Ilumina 2032 West 18th Street Chicago, IL, 60608 United States (map)

Ancestral methods to help soothe the nervous system, cleanse our energetic field, and restore balance to our hearts and spirit for men.

During these challenging times, many men in our community are experiencing susto—a spiritual and emotional state of fear or shock that places the nervous system in constant alert. This healing workshop offers a safe and intentional space to ground, release, and reconnect through ancestral healing practices.Together, we will explore the medicine of the rose and sacred herbs, learning how these plant allies support emotional regulation, soothe the nervous system, cleanse the energetic field, and restore balance to the heart and spirit.

Through a guided meditation, breathwork, and grounding practices, participants will be invited to reconnect with their inner self. This gathering honors the importance of men having space to heal, reflect, and understand how to use ancestral tools to help regulate the nervous system.Participants will leave with practical tools that can be integrated into daily life.
